Mambo-SMF Recent Posts module is now available for download. This is fully configurable from the mambo module administration. You can configure it to specify the number of posts to display. Hide or show board title and date/time. You can configure it to limit the length of characters. And it's SEF enabled!

Thanks for this mod. I made some changes to it however to have it display on a more standard way (with bullets). See this post: http://www.mambohacks.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,66/expv,0/topic,100.0
