Cannot access component config
« on: March 28, 2005, 12:42:39 PM »

Hi,

I installed Your smf integration step by step as stated. Everything went well until I wanted to save the changes to the component config <8in mambo backend). I got an error stating that the page cannot be shown. Now everytime I want to select -->components-->mambo-smf integration-->configuration I get the same error which means I cannot access the config at all.

The only time I was able to see the component config, it also stated "smf not yet installed" but it is installed and works well.

I don't know what to do. I uninstalled and installed again but exactly the same happens..

Cheers

Check if the ff directories are writable:

/administrator/components/
/components/

"smf not yet installed" is displayed when you don't have the correct SMF absolute path in the configuration.

Same as the above poster... my paths are all correct as per the instructions and doing some testing.  I still can't get the "smf not yet installed" to go away Sad

Thanks again for your SMF Integration!  It's great

Ok, I just release 1.2.0. Maybe this one will make installation a bit easier for you guys. I tested it already a couple of times. Just post bugs that you may find or if you guys have questions.
