Mambo logout brings up SMF login screen

Hi,

Does anyone have the experience that when they press the mambo logout button, they are sent to the SMF login screen instead of the mambo home page?

Is there any way to stop this?

Yeah I'm getting the same problem.  I can login fine but when I log out I get taken to the forum, even when I was at a different page. Also it looks like the forum is being place within a normal page ie its displaying modules that have been assigned to a general page as opposed to the forum page.

Anyone got a solution?

I noticed the problem seems to occur regardless of whether you are running embedded or not. You still, when logging out of mambo, get thrown to the SMF login screen.

Cowboy, do you have any ideas what might cause this?

Do you have your Mambo-SMF Forum component configured?

Go to your mambo admin backend and take a look at your Mambo-SMF Forum compenent configuration.

I have "Always redirect to forum on login" set to "No" and it works okay for me.

Yup, configured fine, that doesn't seem to be the problem. Thanks anyways for trying.

BTW - I'm running mambo-SMF v.1.3.1.3 on mambo 4.5.2.3.

oh, I'm also using the hacked smf.php file posted by pestilence

maybe that will help?

oh, and one more variable, I'm using the community builder login module.

I got the next beta coming out soon, this issue is fixed on beta 2.

quick question, do I need to upgrade smf from 1.0.5 to 1.1 beta3p to use your new beta 2?

Yes, beta 2 is working up for SMF 1.1beta version. Just note, it's beta. Does  this issue occurs on the 1.3.1.3? This site is still on 1.3.1.3 and I don't experience it here.

I won't be able to release beta 2 today. I got so busy with other stuffs... again. It's just really a matter of packaging. I just have to search for all the changes I did.
