I tried to install SMF and the Mambo SMF Bridge yesterday evening, with no success. I couldnt login anymore to my Mambo - Admin. The SMF worked properly, but I could not use my Mambo - Login within SMF.

I deleted SMF, all modules and components. This morning I have seen the news here on the site: Mambo SMF Forum --> Version 1.3.1.3 is out !

So I tried again. Downloaded SMF from simplemachines, installed it, downloaded your component from your website. Installed the component and then tried to install the new SMF-Mambo Forum mod using SMF Package Manager. Without success. The files were different, only three files were ok. Got the error message, that the files are not writeable. But they have all been changed to 777.
So I opened the Forum-Mod and saw, that the files in doubt were really different, the source code was similar, but not the same. So thats where the problem was coming from. So I changed the files by hand, uploaded them, tried to install the Forum-Mod again, but with errors.

Could someone please explain which version of SMF is working with your 1.3.1.3 component? I would be happy if someone could help me.

oooh, and btw: I tried to uninstall the component again, but this broke my standard solarflareII template, had to install it again.

What is your SMF's version. (remember, 1.1 beta is not yet supported)
