Output the full html-code of smf forum pages into the main page area.
« on: July 13, 2005, 05:17:15 AM »

Com_smf component (working in Integration Mode: Wrapped) outputs the full html-code of smf forum pages (including tags "html" "/html", "head" "/head", "title", "meta", "link", etc.) into the main page area, which is generated by mambo, that means that the area, defined within the tags "body" "/body" is filled in with the tags "html" "/html", "head" "/head", etc., which is not correspond to the html standards.
As an example you can look through the page code of this forum:
http://www.mambohacks.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,78/expv,0/
How could this be corrected?

It can be corrected by removing those tags via regular expression. This is minor issue about standards compliance, we're prioritizing the major issues first. Unless some good php gurus here can work on it and share the fix to the community.

I really can't explain this stuff here... it's technial php stuffs. You may want to search google about "php regular expressions". Then maybe you can work on editing the code.

I thought you already knew where to find it and even know which one it is. The later is so much easier to figure out than working on that code logic you planned to modify.

But anyhow, it's under administration/components/com_smf
