CSS on the backend, wrapping & Help link shows Home
« on: July 09, 2005, 02:21:07 AM »

I've updated/changed the template_css file and removed style.css so the frontend looks OK, the problem is that I go to the SMF Admin and all the CSS style is lost.

Any idea?

On the other hand the SMF Help link:

/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,101/action,help

shows me the web Homepage. Huh

There's another thing, I can log in using SMF on Firefox but not on IExplorer.

So if I use the mod_login, do I have to remove the Login & Register links from the SMF template?

I wanted to use the SMF login to show the Letter with the legal "blah, blah, blah...".

Forget about this:
Mambo 4.5.2.3
SMF 1.0.5
Mambo-SMF 1.3.1.3
Server: Linux
Apache version:   1.3.33 (Unix)
PHP version: 4.3.11
MySQL version: 4.0.22-standard

Thank you,

CSS on the backend solved changing and uploading style.css, but the HELP link doesn't work.

I've added that mod_smf_login so the user can access from Firefox and IExplorer.  Grin

BUT after I register the URL changes to

/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=28&   Huh

not very SEF, and it shows SMF like another SECTION, with different layout and wrong pathway.

I've tried with several Users and it's the same with Firefox/IE.

Any idea?

The bad wrapping issue

/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=28&

is solved setting "Always redirect to forum on login" to NO, so once logged you get kicked to the frontpage. A dirty solution.

I think that this is a bug on the redirecting code.

Any idea about HELP bug that also brings me to the homepage?

Thank you,

I've copied the Default Theme to create a custom one, but on ALL the themes the HELP link brings me to the homepage (?).

it's all in your theme's code... you need to make some changes on it.I think... index.template.php???

I've found out the issue: many languages doesn't have HELP translated, so no matter what Theme you use if you're not into the English language.

Sorry,
