Do "SMF 1.05" and "SMF-Mambo Mod 1.3.1b" work? Problems
« on: June 29, 2005, 02:47:22 AM »

Hi,

I just did a fresh install of SMF 1.05 and I tried installing SMF-Mambo Mod      1.3.1b on to it with the Package Manager.

However, although i chmodded all the folders and files they say to 777, it still doesnt seem to istall and shows me the message at the bottom saying that I need to put in my FTP info.

However, right above it it says that it successfully mdified the necessary files.
Am I doing something wrong or is it just because these two are not compatible?

Here is exactly what I see:

3. ./Sources/Subs-Post.php
4. ./Sources/Profile.php

* If you get a "Permission" error, one of the files might have been moded already, so get your backup and overwrite it first before trying to re-install.

* If you see "Failure" message, your SMF version is incorrect or the old version of this mod was not uninstalled sucessfully.

You have not installed the mod yet. It's just telling you that the permissions are ok.

You have put your FTP info (usually your domain.com and ftp user/ftp pass), on that screen.
