BBC Table tags not working?

I just discovered that Table tags were not interpreted.

Here is a test:

[table]
[tr]
This is a table row
[td]With one column cell[/td]
[/tr]
[/table]

Intriguing, huh?

I don't know if it's a Mambo-SMF bug or if it is a plain SMF bug though...
