Wrapper is working - but left side of Mambo is taking on the SMF css
« on: June 11, 2005, 06:11:32 PM »

I have just installed Mambo 4.5.2, SMF 1.0.4 and Mambo-SMF 1.3.1.2 and it all works great.  Excellent job!

I have one problem with the wrapper.  I have set the  Mambo-SMF component to wrap and it works, but the left side of naviagation is changed to different fonts, colors, etc.  SMF blows away my template css and it looks like it changes to the SMF css for only that page on the menu.

Any thougts on how I can make sure I have the same look for at least the wrapper.

Here is the site is you need to take a look:

Thanks

Please try to search this forum. This question has been asked several times, and some users already offered some suggestions. This issue can be fixed if you edit the SMF template CSS.

I have searched the forum but no clear answer emerged. It would be helpful if you could put a sticky subject out there that addressed this since a lot of people seem to be having issues with it and no clear instructions seem to exist. Would help a lot of us who have defected to Simpleboard but would use SMF if the integration was complete.

I think it would also help having the solution spelled out more clearly.

I am not very knowledgeable with CSS.  I was able to get the CSS to work out OK on a few of my sites by Trial & Error editing of the SMF Template CSS and my Mambo CSS.
