If you register through the mambo site or on the forum site, the registration works fine but the user manager does not show the users. It's very strange that at the bottom of the mambo user manager site it shows that there are 12 users, but they do not actually show up in the list. The dislpay says 1 - 12 of 12 but the only name that shows up is me as the admin. I need to figure this out before I go public. I tried reintalling the entire program but the same thing is happpening. I'm using 1.3.1.2. Any suggestions?
I think i have he same problem. If i look on smf, it will say a different amount of members than mambo. Isn't there a fix for this? I want to say i used it before on another forum/site i had.
whether u register from mambo or smf side... it's calling the same registration script, which is of mambo. So the user should be in mambo's user manager first. You will only see the user in SMF once the user signs in.
This must be a new bug than, the users do not show up in the user manager, but at the bottom the user manager says1 of 10 which says that it knows the users are there but it will not list their name. Real strange. Any suggestions? I have already tried reinstalling the the mambo component.
The issue you are having sounds exactly like what we were experiencing. It's just a matter of editing those lines in the index.php

There is a catch though - any users created before fixing the index.php will still be broken. You'll have to delete and sign them up again for them to show up properly
