1.) For those upgrading, please try uninstalling first then repeat the installation process before posting a bug. Not relevant as it is a clena install
2.) Always read the sticky posts. Done
3.) In reporting a bug, please at least provide the ff: - server platform: Sun solaris - mambo version: 4.5.2.1 - smf version: 1.0.3 - php version: 5 - webserver (apache or iis) apache
And the problem is. When I have set up both smf and mambo with the 1.3.1 download. Mambo will not load, I cannot get the front page to display.
I have also installed in mambo the following components:
Mambel fish, remository, bookmarks, mamboxplorer and site backup. They are all the most current versions from mamboforge.
I believe I am. The site is unfortuneately behind a corporate firewall, so I have no easy way of showing you the problem. What I can do is provide a screen shot of the config pages.
I thought it was a problem with the template that I was using, but I get the same issue with all the standard mambo templates, and I guess you don't.
I will pots screen shots here on Monday my time for you to see the config and the resulting frontpage.
BTW, once I uninstall the mambo-smf forum, mambo component, all is well, so my guess is it has to do with the code in the index.php, but I could be way wrong on that!
pm2.png - Shows com-smf config screen in mambo. Note that the site is behind a firewall and there is no proxy configured to let it get out onto the internet, hence some of the error messages in the screen.
pm3.png - Same as above, except the path has been configured correctly and the patch applied and users synched.
pm4.png - Normal front page of the site, before installing the component.
pm5.png - Front page shot after the component has been installed.
Please note that the site is also using mambelfish as well.
