Template File Not Found! Looking for template...New Install
« on: May 25, 2005, 07:06:24 PM »

Hey all, running Mambo 4.5.2 and using v1.3.1 of mambo-smf, just did a fresh install, everything went smoothly, when i click on the link for the wrapped forum in mambo, i get this error:

Code:
Template File Not Found! Looking for template:247extender

Now I saw another post on the forum that referenced this:
http://www.mambohacks.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,74/expv,0/topic,174.0

I tried the fix to the code that the person had suggested, and I ended up getting nothing but a blank screen.

Any help on this one?

I am having the exact problem.  Using MamboSMFForum_1.3.2b1 and my host runs ISS servers.

Has anyone figured out what the problem with this is yet?

I have the same problem when I use menu link pointing to the mambo smf component. However when i access the board via a wrapper link its fixed.

I was having that problem as well.  It was calling my default mambo template instead of my SMF template.

I tried changing the name of my smf template but that didn’t work.

Finally I gave up and made a wrapper link to the directory where SMF is located.  That solved the template not found problem however this won’t work well for those of you running mambo 4.5.2+ as the wrapper is not very reliable.  Intact I had to downgrade mambo to 4.5.1b to make things work smoothly.

Best of luck and if any of you need the 4.5.1b zip let me know, I think I have it lying around somewhere.

My setup is as follows:
W2k3 server IIS6
Mambo version: 4.5.1b, I had the same problem with version 4.5.2.3
