is this aceptable? in faq you wrote to install smf under mambo dir but i read it after i done everything
im having some problems too: 1- logging in/out gives some errors (in - SMF page says that an error occured and then redirect to mambo, out - session problem) (these described in known issues - maybe the subdir thing is a hint about this bug? )... after error and redirection im properly logged in/out
2- clicking register at SMF brings SMF register panel, not mambo panel - what i have to reinstall - smf package?
3- the menu position (FORUM) that is created at component install is not working when i move it under some parent menuitem it changes url from index.php to undefined...
one more thing - before i installed mambo smf i have used script from simplemachines forum to convert my data from simpleboard...
anyway - its looking promising even with these errors
well bump up - after few days here are my impressions:
1. my forum runs not in subdir of mambo but it seems that it doesn't really matter - just has to set the component config right
2. i had some passwords witch special chars like # or @ in them (when registration was done by mambo), and those accounts has to enter pass twice - one for comprofiler login and next time for forum
3. when i have user with normal pass (w/out these characters) login process gives error but after redirect it goes ok. Same when i logout - session errors.
