Stats not updating

Ever since I updated to Mambo-SMF Forum 1.3 the hits in the stats aren't updating anymore. Nothing wrong with the new posts and new topics stats but the new member stats and hits remain 0 or another ridiculously low number. This is not critical of course but rather annoying. Any ideas on how to solve this?

Mambo 4.5.2
SMF 1.0.3
Linux and Apache

When a user registers, it is only registered to mambo. The user needs at least to login once to get it sync to SMF stats.

That's not it. I have over 2200 users with an average of 20 online all the time and about 15 new users every day. Still, new users in SMF : 0, and the hits for today : 18. On a normal day my forum would have about 5000 hits.

same problem here but with different stats entries,
new users are counted, online users today (the mod) is also working, topics/posts/hits not logged

mambo 4.5.2
SMF 1.0.3

Stats fix:

put this in /administrator/components/com_smf/

EDIT: removed file... testing further.

no it didn't fix but instead something so weird, when i browse the forum the Hits grow, it's normal but when i post, instead of adding one to the number of posts, the Hits go back to 0 Shocked
and i couldn't read your file it's all mixed up, please don't remove the \n characters it's invisible, unreadable now Sad
