Savebutton not working
« on: May 05, 2005, 08:22:46 AM »

Hi,
I've downloaded 1.3.1, but with the configuration of smf comes an errormessage afther clicking the savebutton. "adminForm.task is empty".

I had to fill in the absolutepath by hand in config.smf.php.

Grtz,
Wil

I'm not experiencing this error both in my local and live. Can you try if the save works now after you manually edited the config?

Does any other users also experienced the same error?

Same problem here. In the previous versions (1.2.x) that problem was solved by editing admin.smf.php. Some instances existed where include once ('rdf.php') had to be replaced with the absolute path. This problem has been solved now but now the save function does not work at all, not even after having manually edited the config file.

The problem is php 5.0! I've switched back to php 4.0 and then the savebutton works normal!

I'm using mambo 4.5.2.1 and php 4, and got the same problem when upgrading mambo-smf component to the last version.

I solved the problem using firefox, next time i used IE the button was working fine.

Hosted Website on Win2K3 IIS 6
PHP 4.3.8
MySQL 4.0.20a-nt
IE 6.0.3790.1830
Mambo 4.5.2.1
SMF 1.0.3
Mambo-SMF Integration version is 1.3.1 Upgraded from 1.2

Problem with save button as above and in addition the menu tabs "User Manager" and "Language" of the Mambo-SMF Forum Configuration screen where not displayed.

Ran admin in Mozilla 1.7.5 and returned to admin in IE - No change
Ran admin in FireFox 1.0.4 and returned to admin in IE - Problems corrected

I have also had this problem

Mambo 4.5.2.1
MamboSMF 3.1.2
SMF 1.0.4

Running Win XP, IE. Save, cancel, user & language options all not working
Tried to admin from my iMac running Safari & no problems.

Guess it's an IE thing...
