Registration and other mambo components

NEWBIE - Warning - NEWBIE - you have been told!

I am using various components on my sites, in particular remository. I have restriced areas where only registered users can get to.

If a guest gets tries to enter one of these areas, they are asked to register and provided with a link to do so. This lets them register in Mambo, but not in SMF.

So my question is, what do I have to do/change to make sure that all registrations take place using the mambo-smf registration?

From your reply, am I to understand that I should replace the code in the remository component with what you have suggested?

I don't think remository has a redirect to registration page or any other component? Unless you edited the error messages to supply a registration link. In this case, you need to change that link. Can you pm me your url?
