site is in development but you can find it here
http://atvunderground.com/home
right now I am running mambo 4.5.2, smf 1.0.3 and the 1.3 beta 1 with the function.smf "modified". The menu link is just the wrapper module pointed @ the forum. Its seems to work okay in Firefox but you don't stay logged  into the forum on IE when you click the forum button.

I have tried beta 1 patch and beta 2 with nothing but problems with the logins and logouts.

edit* I guess it was just my cookies that were keeping me logged in to the forum cause I made a test member and it doesn't work in firefox or IE

I could not get the menu button to work for me it always went to a blank screen? but I did just point a wrapper to the page and it works real good in Firefox...........The whole integration is a mess on IE
5  MamboHacks.com / Mambo-SMF Forum 1.3.0 Support / Re: beta2 login probs on: April 29, 2005, 02:40:45 PM
I was getting the logout session error too w/ b2 so I changed back to the original beta1 non patched with just the "result" thing changed in the functions.smf.php and it works perfect in Firefox, but flashes to a blank screen when I login on IE.

It seems like the whole login is very slow?? and my logins without the integration are very fast.

I am getting the errors I got with the Beta 1 plus on login I get a javascript popup saying please enter username...... Then it takes a long pause and logs me in?
7  MamboHacks.com / Mambo-SMF Forum 1.3.0 Support / menu button for forum on: April 28, 2005, 08:03:05 PM
I am trying to create a button with a componet link to the com_smf componet like the the other intergrations do, but I don't have the smf componet in my list of componets to choose from. Maybe on the beta 2 or 3 you could include a checkbox on the config that puts a button on the menu bar automatically??
thanks

I guess your php installs are strict...

It's coming from functions.smf.php. Look for "return $buffer".
Then replace the whole line with just "return $buffer;"

Or you cann both wait for beta2 w/c is almost ready.

Thanks That did the trick!!!
very easy it was on line 525 in my dreamweaver.
now I will see if there are any other bugs I can find Grin

I did this with the original beta 1 not the patched

I'm in no hurry cause I have alot of other things to work on in my site so I can get back to the integration later, but do you know when the beta 2 is going to be done?  You have made the installation very easy and I was also wondering if the cb rc1 that was just released works with it still?

14  MamboHacks.com / Mambo-SMF Forum 1.3.0 Support / error on login and logout on: April 27, 2005, 11:18:58 AM
Okay on my site when I log in it goes to the smf board login screen and says error in big red letters then 2 seconds later flashes back to the mambo screen and everything logs in fine. I get the same sort of thing on logout? I just re-install a fresh smf and it did the same thing??

I will try some other stuff but if you have any ideas let me know!
15  MamboHacks.com / Mambo-SMF Integration 1.2.0 Support / Re: Achieving integration on: April 27, 2005, 11:04:06 AM
it should integrate the members from mambo and smf instead of them being in 2 seperate databases making your members to have two logins and membernames.
