To any of you guys above you said you have the same problem: do you also have this problem (from my other thread):

When you login on the Mambo side, it sometimes (not always) prompts you to please enter the username and password fields (which you already have done), then when you click OK, it logs you into Mambo but not SMF?  This is where all the trouble that the other people were describing happens for me (with the redirection weirdness and stuff).

well at times i am logged in on mambo but not on SMF... if that's what you mean...

you got the same problem as with robbiek. As of now, I don't know how to fix it because my demo site and local dev site is just fine. I could not reproduce your error.  Huh

Maybe you can try version 1.2 for now.  It's the same version i'm using right now here in this website.

if you want acces to my site, please let me know... as long a s you don't break it, it's fine by me... Smiley

Could this help in my case as well (not synching all users)?

wobo

i guess you got the same issues as i do
11  MamboHacks.com / Mambo-SMF Forum 1.3.0 Support / Re: error when sync ing user on: April 27, 2005, 04:13:08 PM
Oh man i hoped that would solve it all....

so there is something i did wrong... but at my test site the php states what you said, but indeed the site where it's all about had wrong code.

But i still get the error, when i logout it says: session verification failed, please try logging out and logging back in again.

Or something like that atleast, the login error remains the same as before...

man i'm already filled with joy that we found atleast something!  Grin
Sorry if i didn't follow correct instructions, that's what working on two sites at the same time will do for ya...
12  MamboHacks.com / Mambo-SMF Forum 1.3.0 Support / Re: error when sync ing user on: April 27, 2005, 04:02:12 PM
Code:
global $mainframe, $mosConfig_live_site;
if ($_REQUEST['action'] == "logout") call_user_func($mainframe->logout());
if ($_REQUEST['action'] == "login2" || $_REQUEST['action'] == "logout") $setLocation = $mosConfig_live_site;
$setLocation = str_replace("&?", "&", $setLocation);

that's what it states underneath...

Code:
session-check error

That's the error i get at one of my other sites, does that maybe ring a bell?

I think your issue should be solve by this SMFMamboMod_1.3.0.b1a.zip.
It's on the announcement board. component/option,com_smf/Itemid,66/expv,0/topic,168.0
that's the one i installed twice now... don't get me wrong but i tried all you said...

aargh  Tongue Grin

I really can't reproduce your error so all i can suggest for you is re-install. So if you're sure that install went smoothly, i guess i need to see it from your server to understand the problem.

you are very welcome to join the fun/troubleshooting! Smiley
