Any chance any PHP guru has an interest in this task?

I added the following line to my .htaccess, will inform this board what happens. (The registration problem occurs only intermittently, and I cannot reproduce it).

The correct line is:
php_flag register_globals on

I think

I have the same trouble, with exactly the same config. (MamboMe CB, SMF, Mambo & Mambo_SMF). I have been searching out a solution and have yet to find one. If anybody discovers the problem, please post a message here.

OK, I will try in that order and see what happens. I installed CB last.

Does anyone have a SMF 1.0.3 SMF Forum 1.3.1 and COmmunityy Builder (mambojoe or mambome) integration working? I had the Mamboi & SMF Forum working well, tried integrating CB (from Mambojoe) and all h^%*^
broke loose. Had to rebuild my site. Womdering if others had worked through the steps to get this working?

Thanks for the help. I know you have heard this a lot, but your integration clean and is remakably stable. A wonderful piece of work!

I would like to confirm that I should be able to upgrade from 1.30beta2 to 1.30final by doing the following (in a working implementation of the smf forum):

1) Simply overwriting the beta2 files in
   a) **mambo_install_dir**\administrator\components\com_smf
   b) **mambo_install_dir**\components\com_smf

2) Uninstall old SMF Mod and install new SMF Mod

Cowboy:
Your integration is a superb addition to my website. The installation keeps getting better & better and I have stopped hacking SMF and Mambo to make things work. Cheesy

I am not a great PHP programmer, and cannot seem to get the SEF extentions to work with the SMF component. Some functionality works, other parts do not. I wonder if you have an interest in reworking the attached sef_ext.php file for your component. I might be able to help via time or $ donation to effort. We would like to have it for our site, and I am sure many others who use SEF Advanced or 404SEF might as well.

9  MamboHacks.com / Mambo-SMF Integration 1.2.0 Support / Re: Error during configuration on: March 30, 2005, 08:26:01 PM
OK I solved the problem, thought I would pass it on.
The permissions for the BASE Mambo directory must be 777 to avoid this error.

10  MamboHacks.com / Mambo-SMF Integration 1.2.0 Support / Error during configuration on: March 30, 2005, 08:22:21 PM
I installed the integration component and login module. When I go to configuration I get this error:

Permission Settings: Configuration file (config.smf.php) is writable
Function file (functions.smf.main.php) is writable
Mambo template file (index.php) is writable

SMF Absolute Path:
SMF Database Prefix:
Mambo Database Prefix:
Integration Option:  Wrapped Unwrapped
Existing SMF With User Data?     IMPORTANT: Uncheck only if you are using this for a fresh SMF install!
Version Info: SMFMamboMod.zip mod is not yet installed!

Your Mambo-SMF Integration version is 1.2.0.

Warning: touch(): Unable to create file mh_mambo_smf_update.rdf because Permission denied in /home/earleyp/public_html/portal/administrator/components/com_smf/rdf.php on line 21

Warning: chmod(): No such file or directory in /home/earleyp/public_html/portal/administrator/components/com_smf/rdf.php on line 22

It appears to be a permissions issue. I do not have the macine local (I am using a provider) I have set permissions for the administrator/com_smf directory to 777.  WHat am I missing?
