Thanks for the followup. I edited the error reporting feature instead so that it has stopped logging errors... The database got filled up too fast for me to handle!
After uninstalling the bridge my forum error log still keeps filling up to such an extent that I have to deactivate the error logging completely to avoid filling up my server harddrive.
Noticed that the activity on the other mambo bridge forum over at simplemachines is alot better... So I might just have to uninstall this one and reinstall Orsios original bridge.
I wish you people could agree on joining forces and just producing one bridge, I really do.
If I stand at "My forum" I can enter "A forum", but if I try clicking "A subforum" I just stay at the frontpage. Now, if I first click "A forum" and go to that forum, then click "A subforum", then the URL is all good.
After installing the bridge I noticed that all of the top buttons links go to option=com_smf, but the ADMIN-button goes straight to the standalone forum still.
But on to the real problem: I also get a problem with huge error logs in SMF since the mambo side of things still isn't live and all my users are still using the standalone forum. Users using the standalone forum (including myself while I am administrating the forum since that is only done in the standalone version) generate lots and lots of errors. This topic is also discussed on the SMF forums: http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=27409.0
I had this problem too with the default mambo login module, but then I downloaded and started using the optional login module, my problems were solved.
I have everything up and running, thanks for an excellent mambohack!
But: In the configuration, there seems to be something wrong. I do not have a database prefix on my SMF-tables at all, so I have left that field empty. Still, the config component comes up with "(incorrect prefix)" error. So since "" is not a prefix then the config seems to think this is an error...
I also get this error: INSTALLATION CHECKLIST: not installed Install SMF Forum on the same database as Mambo.
As I said: The bridge is working just fine, this just seems to be a display problem.
I am using Mambo 4.5.2.2 and Mambo-SMF 1.3.1.2 on PHP5 and MySQL4
