Well, that's the way it is meant to be, aravot. See the "logout" button to the left of the keys? Thats what you press to really logout the original mambo way.
Why not just delete the menu item and use the modulebutton?
I'm currently using the login and online modules from MamboMe.com These are not called mod_comprofilermoderator, so I request that you might want to check isCBLogin() with something else than that module - ppl might wanna use others as well. Maybe the safest way is to check if #_comprofiler exists ?
I registered and even wrote a topic at Squaresite earlier today. When returning now, I was automaticly logged in to CB (chose to be remembered), but not the forum, which said "Welcome, guest..." - using Firefox 1.0.3 Yeah, would also be nice to see a recent posts module at that site, since most ppl will want that also.
This looks so flawless now, that it made me change my site. Thanks for awesome work!
I think that's a very good roadmap. The only thing I can think of, is to _maybe_ have an option to replace smf's wysiwyg buttons with the wysiwygeditor chosen in Mambo. This way users will face one common interface when contributing something.
Yes, I agree. That list would be good milestone. I guess it will take a while though, as these functions probably require some heavy modding of SMF.
I think that if you have pt 1. covered, you will automatically have nr 2 as well. The only thing needed then, is that MamboMe agrees to put some SMF config parameters in the integration tab of CBE, but my experience is that MrJeff will gladly allow that.
Admin: Do you think this wishlist is reasonable/reachable? What kind of timeframe are we talking?
keymaster: Agreed, the more integrated, the better!
MamboMe released *another* new version of their Community Builder Enhanced today, with lots of new stuff. Guestbook for every user? Check it out here: http://mambome.com/content/view/58/2/ The development of this enhanced version is outperforming the original CB by miles
Anyway, yeah, I think lots and lots of mambers will be happy for a Community Builder + Mambo + SMF integration. I actually think there's a need for a good working example of the three, to show all the mambers what can be achieved with these three, as many seems to either not know of neither CB nor SMF, or what they can do... the sky is the limit
Great to see someone working on the Mambo+SMF bridge again, Mambo sorely needs a real forum software.
Now, my plee is to make this bridge work with Community Builder. I have really gotten into ComBuilder after seeing the Enhanced version from MamboMe. It just makes the profiles really cool. See an example here: A profile at a cat site - Something like that, only with SMF instead of SimpleBoard - would rock!
Still, I know CB uses it's own user-table, so it might not work with this bridge? Would be great if one of the gurus could take a look at this!
