Title: Re: How to make my SMF template to stay within Mambo Post by: lawman on April 05, 2005, 05:39:54 PM It looks fine when you use a real browser like firefox ;), but to make it look good under IE go to your index.template.php file in your forums template direct and change:
/* What document type definition is being used? (for font size and other issues.) 'xhtml' for an XHTML 1.0 document type definition. 'html' for an HTML 4.01 document type definition. */ $settings['doctype'] = 'xhtml'; to /* What document type definition is being used? (for font size and other issues.) 'xhtml' for an XHTML 1.0 document type definition. 'html' for an HTML 4.01 document type definition. */ $settings['doctype'] = 'html'; That should take care of it. So, I'm just giving you guys the whole edited theme used in this forum. Just put it under the Themes folder and install it. Title: Re: How to make my SMF template to stay within Mambo Post by: Lifeischoice on April 11, 2005, 10:21:55 AM Thank you for your kindness. Well appreciated.

Title: Re: How to make my SMF template to stay within Mambo Post by: anubi on July 01, 2005, 12:08:53 AM Rather than packaging and releasing the template you used in this forum (although it is nice and Im sure lots of people would download it), why not just create a componenent or something that automatically edits SMF to fit inside mambo as done here? Isnt there a way that you can create a file or something that people could just use to remove the login box and menu?

We were just hoping that users can figure that out for now. Anyway, we're already working on some general SMF templates that would look better with most mambo templates.
