Title: error during configuration

1. Backend error....http://www.website.com/administrator/index2.php?option=com_smf&task=config

note that no .php at the end of config

2. Menu error....Please go to Mambo-SMF Integration configuration to patch the mambo template.

3. No frontpage display on my site...

1. that's not an error
2. Is you Mambo Template index.php writable??
3. caused by number 2.

i have chmod my index to 755 and still the same!
do I still need to manually insert the "code" into the template index?

Further error...

browser error during configuration... 'this.tab' is null or not an object
code 0 url: http://www.website.com/administrator/index2.php?option=com_smf&task=config
