Title: SMF registration page instead of Mambo
Post by: aravot on March 25, 2005, 04:25:16 PM
Installed Mambo and SMF using Mambo-SMF Integration v1.1a beta bridge without any problem, however I want to use SMF’s registration (have custom fields) instead of Mambo’s, how to do that

Well, you can't. But on the configuration, yo can actually choose to include IM fields during the registration.

IM is no use to me, I have First Name, Last Name and location for registration, well guess have to go with 3.02, have to admit installation was smooth

I like your bridge it is easier for me cause I have no clue of programming, but need to add few custom fields to registration page, to be specific First Name, Last Name you can see it HERE (http://www.peterosipof.com/smf/) at my test website, how to do that in Mambo. I appreciate your help.

I know where you're coming from. Since I am freelance web developer, it was just time consuming for me installing the original version for my clients. What more for those plain users. So I decided to revise it to make my life easy.

I understand your request. I can probably have this feature on my following revisions. But no promises. Right now i'm just focusing on making everything simple to install.
