Title: Not Trying to be a Pest! Post by: ziggie on March 22, 2005, 08:06:36 PM Hello, I posted this problem on the SMF - Mambo bridge forum, just want to see what you suggest?
After installing the SMF-Bridge (3.02), I noticed a big problem with my site, it doesnt show contents of the CMS: home, faq, contact us, ziggiesoft.com. The forum link works and I can login just fine, but I cant access anything else. So when I found your mod I uninstalled (3.02) and installed yours. I'm still having the same issue and now I can't register. Check out: http://www.ziggiepix.ziggiesoft.com/mambo I found that when the default module 'mod_login' is published with the bridge mod 'mod_smf_login' unpublished, I can access the site content fine with the exception of the login interfacing with SMF, and vice versa. Quote: You set it in "Menu Item Links" where you want a module to be displayed. So choosing "all" should have your smf_login displayed in all pages. I can go into my mambo administration page>modules>site modules>mod_smf_login and change the 'menu item link page' from 'all' to 'forum' and what-ah-ya know it works!! Could this be a module conflict of some kind? Could it have to do with the paths not being correct? I double-checked the paths in configuration.php, and all looks ok. Where else should I check for paths? Please someone have a solution, I'm pulling my hair out over here!! Thanks, -ziggie Title: Re: Not Trying to be a Pest! Post by: ziggie on March 22, 2005, 09:33:48 PM Update:
While looking at my Mambo administration page>menu>mainmenu>forum menu item, I noticed the type is 'Component - TinyMCE-EXP Admin'. Is this what it should be? Thanks, -ziggie Title: Re: Not Trying to be a Pest! Post by: cowboy on March 23, 2005, 01:08:23 AM I guess I just need to look at your website. Email me an access then I will take a look at it when I get a chance. Hopefully tomorrow.
Title: Re: Not Trying to be a Pest! Post by: ziggie on March 23, 2005, 10:00:39 PM Ok I feel like a DUMB A**, I got it working!! For some reason the index.php file in my default template was not letting my change its permissions and allowing me to update it. I had to change the name of the folder and re-upload it with the altered index.php in it and sweetness!

For version 1.2, hopefully users will not go through the same problem you had. I made some changes so installation is pretty much automated.
