Title: Error Setting Up SMF-Mambo

Im trying to patch the forums and i get this error.  Before i had another error, but i fixed that, now im stuck at this error with the package manager

2: copy(/home/so/asa/public_html/forum/Themes/default/script.js~): failed to open stream: Permission denied
File: /home/so/asa/public_html/forum/Sources/Subs-Package.php
Line: 1307

I checked the files permission, all at 777

any one have any clue?

I think you don't have permission on the main path ("/default").

If you succeeded and then encountered issues on the forum, try uninstalling the mod and re-install it. You should not get any failed error messages. Because sometimes, that causes the SMF files not being moded completely.

If that happens, you may need to get the 6 original files from SMF and be sure that all permissions are set before you execute the mod again.
