Hello people!

First of all i have got to thank the admin for his nice and solid product.Im tottaly clueless of PHP ,MYSQL and up to a certain point of Mambo.Right now im learning how to use mambo. The Admins mod on the bridge (the 1.2 final) is very helpfull and has literraly helped me do things i couldnt do without its existence...ANother mod appeared which is the original bridge 3.1 ,but i preffered this version over it because i consider it more simple.Its an opensource world,and lots of upgrades on those products are about to come.

I have though a small problem: I installed everything correct and i have my forum (fresh one) in a wrapped mode.When i try to login ,it doesnt log me the first time ,it logs me on the second time.I think the same thing happes with the logout proccess as well... The first time i try to login the page just refreshes as if i didnt enter any data at all....

Any ideas?!

(By the way,posting this "bug" here isnt just to solve MY problem...I believe that with this feedback we help the author as well to progress with his mod)

I investigated the problem further and i am back with some new info

1)When i enter the login information the first time, fisrt thing that appears is wrapped forum but im do not appear logged in neither in mambo nor in SMF

2)When i enter the login information for the second time ,my wrapped forum does not appear first thing but im taken to the page you get when you click the "home button" on mambo,and i appeared logged in!!!

3)When i try to logout it fails,and after pressing the logout button i appear logged in!

4)When i press the logout button the second time it logs me out!!

5)Looking at who is logged in ,when i successful log in (the second time that is)it shows as if i am logged twice (it says 2 users for example when there is only me in)...

I dont know what to make of it...It appears as it logs me in twice but not taking into account the first time,whereas logout clearly shows i need to logout twice....

I found the solution!

It was a cookies issue that originated from wrong live path issue in mambo.I installed it with fantastico and the live path was set to xxxxx.org instead of www.xxxxx.org which was what i used in the browser to call my website.

I edited the configuration PHP since it was not changeable from the backend and now it works ok

I have the same problem, even though everything is set correctly in the config file to www.mysite.com.

Any more ideas?

(EDIT: Although I just noticed this post is in the 1.2 forum, I am actually using v.1.3, and the problem is still occuring.)
