I'm feelin' REAL dumb. How do I know, or find my SMF Database Prefix? I've got everything else setup find, but that's the only thing I can't figure out. I know my SQL database name... but I assume that's not it.
If you're figuring how what prefix you already set up, then go to your smf forum and get into the Admin page. find the "Edit Server Settings" under "Forum Configuration" It's in there.
If you're just starting out and installing smf, then once you know your database name you can choose any prefix you want. The installation script for SMF will make the right table for you with the prefix you choose. I just use the default, i.e., "smf_"
