Phooey.  I just ran into this problem too.  Deleted about a hundred users for good reason (false users advertising porn sites, brought over from our insecure phpBB transition).

Since the mambo user search capabilities aren't as good, it will be hard for me to go dig them out of the mambo side. Sad

Is it slated to be fixed in the next release, or am I out of luck?

Thanks,

Allie

Ok.  I had no idea that a component could affect the Mambo menu and other frame formatting.

Didn't see exactly this problem discussed with the latest release, 1.3.2beta1.

The font changes when switching to the forum component page.  It is most noticeable on the mambo breadcrumbs, but some of my users are telling me that it is enough to affect the screen size, making them have to do lots of scrolling.

I checked out the smf-forum demo that you just added, and sure enough, your breadcrumbs are different on that page too.  So it's not just me.  Smiley

Am so glad you got this component released for SMF 1.1+!   Even with the font and login/logout glitches, it is still worth it!

I guess I can understand the point from the SMF perspective.  The present verbage might give the appearance that mambohacks and SMF are organizationally related.

Perhaps SMF would be open to adding a seperate line underneath the present, untouched copyright, such as "Mambo integration provided by Mambo-SMF."  Mambo-SMF is a great mod and deserves its own recognition.

Seems to me that it would comply with both the letter and the spirit of the copyright requirement.

I too am eagerly awaiting the release that handles 1.1 Beta 3 Public.  I checked out the Mambo-SMF Bridge component, but I find it to be... ummm... much less elegant than the Mambo-SMF Forum component.

In fact, I would rather go without any Mambo integration than use the Bridge.  Best of luck with the updating!
