Well i'm done testing... it hell a lot easier to install than it was. and no more SMF warning that people use to get. Because there's no need for SMF mod!
About my site down.... my provider sucks (i got a reseller account)! I'm in the process of looking for a new provider... or probably get a dedicated (if i can afford).
But just a tip for all of us. It's always best not to jump in and upgrade to new releases (specially beta). Because 50% of the time there will be issues. Always wait for 2 weeks or even a month before upgrading. All the issues, if there is, will surface during those period.
Avoid upgrading too soon specially if your site is very important.
SMF should point on whereever the datanase is. I'm just lost on how you merged it. The way to do it is, during SMF installation, assign the Mambo database as it's target DB. Otherwise, if you do some manual moving... change the SMF config manually.
I am getting the problem of mambo logout going to SMF login screen, and I am using Mambo-SMF 1.3.1.3 with SMF 1.05 on mambo 4.5.2.3.
Cowboy, you mentioned your beta2 will fix this problem. It sounds like you know what the bug was.
If so, would it be at all possible to post a patch for this problem in 1.3.1.3? This way, those of us who would rather not migrate to SMF 1.1 just yet can still get a fix.
Thanks very much.
Yes, I can do that. But one at a time. I'll just finish 1.3.2 beta 2.
Great thanks for the reply, looking forward to the new beta.
Not to be too cheeky but when can we expect to see it.
apt
I won't be able to release beta 2 today. I got so busy with other stuffs... again. It's just really a matter of packaging. I just have to search for all the changes I did.
