i have mambo 4.5.2 + community builder + smf 1.0.3.. im more concerned on one point you raised here:

(1) New users do not appear in backend CB/Mambo user mgmt screens after executing index.php patch from MamboSMF config screen. (AKA "empty registration").

FIX: Overwrote index.php w/ the index.php version linked by cowboy in the "empty registration" thread. Users registered subsequent to this fix showed up correctly in the backend screens. Thanks cowboy

where can i find that fix? can you give a lead? im having the exact same problem.. thank you

14  MamboHacks.com / Mambo-SMF Forum 1.3.0 Support / Mambo main path (/home/mysite/public_html) is not writeable! on: June 12, 2005, 04:19:10 AM
would this permission setting affect the over all operation of smf-mambo? pls check screenshot below:

im trying to figure out.. why im having so many errors in my error log.. either in the "cpanel" or the error logs of SMF. is this one of the causes?

if ever i change the permission of this, would i expect more error in the operation of mambo? since the permission to be changed is the "www" or public html folder in which all mambo files and the files in the site is in place.

hope to hear your replies.

so is there no bug fix to this yet? or the manual sync in the mambo component still stands a solution?
