problem after login - canīt access site
« on: August 09, 2005, 05:19:23 AM »

Hello,

Iīm using the mambo login module. When I login, Iīm redirected to my site,
but I get a msg box with "The Internetsite .... canīt be opened".
Then it is not possible to access the site, until I logout the user over the administration console.

I think I installed all components and modules in the right way. No, errors are seen during installation. Also the login over SMF fails with the same problem.

Any ideas....

Never encountered that error before.

If you're getting the same error logging in from SMF as you said, you might need to verify your SMF configuration or re-install it.

I used SMF 1.05 and the other stuff. I thought that this worked a few weeks ago. But today I tried it again and it makes this error.

Then I uninstalled the modules and components. Now I installed the SMF 1.10 and the new mod, component. And I get the same error.

@cowboy
What do you mean with configuration in SMF?

I found the solution.

I have installed a new editor for mambo "htmlarea" and this can cause errors with the "index.php" of the template. So, I corrected the code in the index file.

Now, it works fine...  Cheesy
